Commitment Alert JMU – Julia Varhola – 2026 – Pitcher

Julia Varhola commits to James Madison University to be a Duke!! We are so excited to announce that Julia, 2026 Pitcher from Hempfield Area HS will be taking her skills to JMU in Harrisonburg, VA, they compete in the Sunbelt Conference!

Julia plays on Team Pennsylvania Hall 2026 and is a power pitcher hitting speeds of 65-66 MPH, Julia has great speed and spin and gets tons of swings-n-misses and Strikeouts!! At the plate Julia packs a punch with her bat and provides power in the middle of our line-up! Julia attended many JMU camps and after her visit she knew Harrisonburg was the perfect place for her!! Julia will be studying Kinesiology and minoring in Business!

Jules your hard work and dedication has paid off in the biggest way, achieving your goal of playing Division I softball!! We can’t wait to see all you accomplish at JMU!!
